The Clearest Sign

My birthday was 2 days ago.
Yes, I almost became the Mr. St. Valentine - only 1 day short!

I suppose we all should be,

"One day Older, one day Wiser"

But, are we?

Since so many Historical Events have taken place in the last 18 months, we may as well re-visit the History by going right back to Aug 2007 - the Beginning of this Never Ending "World War III" (others call it the Credit Crunch)

In Aug 2007, Bear Stearns, the then 5th Largest Investment Bank in Wall St, suddenly declared two of its funds NOT allowing redemption and were suspended. Everyone started panicking.

Many Governments then began their Painful Journey of pumping Trillions of Cash into the Failing Banking System.

The Governments soon declared nothing needed to be worried about, as they had took care of the Situation, urging everyone to live their lives as Normal.

But in Mar 2008, Bear Stearns Collapsed and the US Government stepped in. And again, many Governments pumping yet More Trillions of Cash into the System, Assuring everyone that nothing needed to be worried.

But, but in Sep 2008, Lehman Brothers, the then 4th Largest Investment Bank in Wall St. Collapsed, causing even More Panic - do I have to remind you what the Governments did and what had happened from then on?

Do you still believe some commentator's claim that the Worst should be over by the end of this year of early next year?

Have anyone missed the Clearest Sign?

Even though More and Bigger Stimulus Plans are put in place in many countries - and in place again and again, but still things only get Worse :

Bigger firms are collapsing - look at the above, from 5th to 4th Largest;
The Once Rescuers now need to be Rescued - look at the Bank of America and Citi;
The Interest Rates are Lower and Lower and some already reached 0% or close to 0%;
The Unemployment Rates are Higher and Higher - 20% in some parts of South California;
More and More People are going onto the street for Massive Demonstration.

So, HOW have you prepared for the Worst Depression?
