I've a few Surprises lately.

1st from my Elder Boy.
From his research on Richest countries.
Ranking economies by GDP.

I know China is 2nd largest.
But don't know India is 4th,
USSR is 7th & Brazil is 9th!

So, what's this G7?
Claiming to be the Summit for..
The World's 7 Largest economies!

Yet France is only at 8th,
Italy at 10th.
And Canada at 13th!

Another Surprise was from Mr Yam.
Ex-CEO of HK Monetary Authority.

Reminding Individuals to do a..
'Pressure Test' for the coming..
Bigger Bubble Burst.
See if they could take a 30-40% Loss!

Then the Surprise from China.
A Sudden Interest Rate Rise.

But, should I be Surprised?
China has to act.
And this is only its 1st shot!

More & Bigger Surprises to come.
Big Rise, Big Fall & above all,

Move

Some friends are still surprised.
By my latest sudden move.
Why returned to UK?
I replied,'Why Not?'

Some said,'UK is really bad at present.'
I replied, 'Same as everywhere.'

Some said,'UK house price is to fall.'
I replied, 'That's good, I'm a Buyer.'

Some said, 'UK could only get worse.'
I replied, 'My NZ$ & A$ could stretch more.'

They never knew that I'd made a Promise.
Made 9 years ago when we left London.
I told my wife back then,
'I promised you, one day we'll be back.'

They never knew that my boy was accepted..
By a Top Grammar School in UK.

Good Reputation is Priceless.
Good Education is Priceless.

So,I made a move 4 months ago.
Returned UK for good.

Made another move 24 days ago.
Started cashing in my A$ for good.

Things change.
So much over last few years.
And many have been in tears.

Losing Money in many case.
Losing Faith is another way.
Heartbreaking to see HSBC,
Losing Focus as we speak.

Used to be the case,
CEO/Chairman replied right away.
Winning hearts of customers,
Staying miles ahead of competitors.

Now is another way.
CEOs want to run away,
From answering sensible questions,
From loyal customers of frustrations.

HSBC AUS has been so Incompetent,
No Common Sense in new account open.
Asking Existing customer of 4 years,
Filling in a 8-page form due to Fear,
Breaking Laws of Authority.

Even though I'd repeatedly stressed,
Such procedure was only to address,
New but NOT Existing customers.
Sensible argument falling in deaf ears.

Wrote to CEO HSBC Group.
A quick response as I hoped.
Nothing.
Not the same thing.
He was far too busy,
Trying to get a £36 Million Bonus - Easy.

The company culture seems have changed.
Top Men Not Responding to customers;
Middle Men Not Reassuring customers;
Frontliners Not Thinking like customers,

So my views on HSBC have also changed.

See if there is a Happy Ending,
Resulting from Common Sense Prevailing.
And decide if HSBC is still worth Investing.

Finally.
Crunching Time gone.
I'd found a way out.
Managed to sell our OZ house.

Lost money on selling.
But 'Earned' on rental saving.
And Earned on A$ Exchanging.

In the end,
A Happy Ending.

But could we see the same Ending?
Has world seen a 'Way Out' coming?

US.
Distressed.
1/7 homes behind payment/re-possessed.
1/7 people are in 'Poverty' Standard.

UK.
Not O.K.
1/4 families with noone working.
1/4 primary students need Extra Helping.

Can Governments keep printing money?
Keep running away from reality?

We're to see another Crisis coming.
You better well prepared & running.

Social Unrest is Happening,
