My Boys love watching it.
So does my wife.
I watch it too - only if I've washed the dishes in time!

And for the last few days, the candidates were competing each other in......



Hong Kong!

While staying at the Luxury Langham Hotel.

Candidates were reminded their dishes must have the Oriental Touch.
This has reminded me a candidate who was Eliminated just before this HK Challenge.

Her name was Poh and she's a Chinese.
She & another candidate were facing a "Pressure Test".
Each was asked, in turn, what the 20 ingredients were in a dish.
The moment one gave the wrong answer, the moment they're Eliminated.

With only 4-5 ingredients left to be named, Poh made a Fatal Mistake.
She was Over-confident.
So,instead of naming the obvious ingredients, she tried a harder one........
And she got it Wrong!
Even though she named, after being Eliminated, all the remaining ones Correct.

Another candidate, Justine, had never been required to attend a "Pressure Test".
But, she had faced her first one during the HK Super Challenge.
She kept telling the Judges that Asian Food was her Weakest Point.

The other candidate needed to attend the "Pressure Test" as Justine was concentrated.
Completely concentrated in tasting the dish she had to cook.

Unlike Justine, she had tasted the Duck, the Hoi Fung, the Vegetable, the Sauce etc.
Essentially, every single ingredient in the dish.
In the end, she'd won and Justine was Eliminated.
And what did Justine say to the Judges?

Again, she was not particular good at making the Asian Food!

In Life, there are always Winners and Losers.
And there are Always More Losers than Winners.

Because NOT everyone understands the Vital Importance of,
- Being Confident but NOT Over-confident; and
- Find Own Weakness and Improve if NOT Eliminate the Weakness.

And In Investment, one will be Punished Heavily for failing to understand the above.

Had Poh been More Humble......
Had Justine been More Prepared to Improve........
